Coach Brodie
From the moment I could hold a bat, baseball has been an integral part of my life. My earliest memories are of my dad tossing plastic balls my way in our basement when I was just three years old, igniting a passion that would grow into a lifelong love affair with the game. By the time I was five, I was suited up for my first baseball game, and at eight, I joined a competitive travel team in Golden, marking the beginning of my journey as a dedicated athlete.
In pursuit of honing my skills, my parents built an indoor facility when I turned nine—an oasis where my dad and I would spend countless hours practicing. This became our sanctuary, a space filled with laughter, hard work, and cherished memories. My love of the game continued to grow as I played youth baseball in Parker, later taking the field for Pueblo West High School and continuing my journey at CSU Pueblo. Throughout my playing days, I was fortunate to learn from exceptional coaches who not only refined my skills but also inspired me to give back to the sport as a coach.
Baseball has imparted invaluable life lessons; it has taught me the essence of teamwork, the importance of resilience, determination, hard work, competitiveness, compassion, and patience. These lessons formed the foundation of my character and fueled my ambition to create a positive impact in my community.
After earning my bachelor's degree in Business, I set my sights on a dream that has long been close to my heart: to own and operate my own baseball hitting facility. I envision a place where the youth of Pueblo can not only learn the physical mechanics of hitting but also embrace the mental aspects of the game. My mission is to share my passion for baseball, cultivating a fun, competitive atmosphere that fosters personal growth through sport. In doing so, I hope to empower the next generation, helping them develop into skilled players and exceptional individuals.
